About Seth Michael May
Seth Michael May has been an actor, director, acting teacher and coach in New York City for over 25 years.
He has worked in theatre, film, and TV, specializing in Improvisation and Shakespeare.
Over the years, he has had the opportunity to be mentored by John Strasberg, Milton Katselas, Viveca Lindfors, George DiCenzo, Herbert Berghof, and studied acting and improv technique extensively with Gloria Maddox, Harold Guskin, and Alan Arkin.
Throughout his career, he has developed sophisticated techniques bringing together improvisation and text, and from that work, he founded the first Spontaneous Scene Study class.
With his guidance and knowledge, his coaching clients and students have been empowered to make original creative choices, craft unique characters, and discover surprising moments on stage by learning to stretch outside their comfort zones.
